2007 Membership Agreement
1. Upon joining the New Life Food Club, I will pay a one time membership fee of forty ($40 ) dollars. This fee entitles my
account to one (1) vote. Thirty ($30) dollars of membership dues are refundable if your account is paid in full when you
leave the Club.
2. I agree to pay additional expenses that are voted on by the membership. The NLFC membership agrees to give at least one
month notice for any special assessments.
3. As a working member, one other family can order on, or share my account.
4. In understand after three (3) consecutive months of not placing an order, my membership may be canceled.
5. I agree to pay a mark-up of 5% percent on each order, excluding orders on locally grown or made goods. I understand tax
will be assessed on taxable items. Members holding Core positions (club officer positions)do not pay the percentage mark-up
on their orders during their term as Core.
6. I or my representatives will attend scheduled adjustment meetings. Failure to attend adjustment meetings on a regular
basis limits the group's ability to fulfill partial case orders.
7. Payment for my amount ordered will be made on or by the adjustment meeting. All or part of my order may be canceled if
payment is not made by adjustment night.
Checks may also be sent via mail to Club Treasurer.
8. I agree to pick up my order during the designated day and time or else make alternate arrangements for pickup in the event
of unforeseen circumstances. In the event of an abandoned order, the order may be confiscated with no refund after reasonable
attempts are made to contact said member.
9. As a member, I understand I have the responsibility to work 3 hours per 6 order cycle period. I agree to pay the NLFC
for unworked hours at the rate of $5.00 per hour at the end said of the 6 cycle period. I understand that the amount of work
hours may change as membership fluctuates and any proposed increase or decrease of hours will be brought to a vote.
